Using the App
If you do not want to watch video, then continue reading the text version to learn how to use the app.
It is a FREE app that can answer your jyotish and future questions. It is a digital form of Sri Ram Shalaka Prashnavali , a mathematical tool described in the holy book Sri Ramacharitmanas written by Saint Tulsidas in 1574 CE.
When you tap on a particular cell a letter is selected and every 9th letter is selected from that cell , which is then added to the previous letter and becomes a Chaupai.
The Chaupai formed and its meaning is shown to the user indicating the answer to the question asked by the user.
It very simple to use, just close your eyes, mediate on your faith and think of a positive close ended question, then tap anywhere inside the grid of letters or square boxes and see the answer to your question at the bottom of the screen.
How the App Works
The links to download the FREE app are available at the bottom.
The square Prashnavali box is made of a 15×15 matrix. Each cell in the prashnavali matrix has a specific letter on it. Thus, the box hides a number of ’Chaupai’ (a verse of Indian poetry) and these Chaupai are part of the book Sri Ramcharitmanas.
Each Chaupai has a meaning in the context of the book. The meaning of chaupai indicates the answer
Step 1. There are certain rules to use the Ram Shalaka Prashnavali. You should be clean, had bath and wearing clean cloths. Your mind body should be clean and you should meditate on God/Goddess or on your faith before asking a question. You should try to not ask more than one question in a day.
Step 2. Open the App, close your eyes, mediate on your faith and think of a positive close ended question. Tap anywhere inside the grid of letters or square box. See the answer to your question at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. You will see answer to your question at the bottom of the screen in the App. There are three tabs at the bottom of the screen
1) Verse
2) Meaning and
3) Place.
Meaning – This tells the answer to your question, which is the meaning of the Chaupai formed by the letter you selected for your question. See Verse below to understand relation between letter you selected and Chaupai.
Verse – When you tap on the Verse tab, it shows the Chaupai that got created by the letter you tap on the box of letters. For example in the above screen shot, the user asked a question and user tapped on letter ‘प्र’, which resulted in Chaupai as shown below.
Place – This tells the place in the Ramcharitmanas from where this Chauapi or Verse has been taken as shown below
We would like to mention one key point, do not ask the same question multiple times. This online Prashnavali is not a game. Believe in your faith and ask a question.
